Privacy Policy for my apps
In short: my apps work on your device. I do not collect, receive or store any personal data from using them. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking.
Scope
This policy applies to every app published by Max Nowack whose store listing links to this page. Not every section applies to every app: sections about a feature only matter for apps that have that feature. An app with its own privacy policy is covered by that policy instead.

Data on your device
Everything you create in an app, such as recordings, routines, history, reminders and settings, is stored in the app's storage on your device and processed there. It is not sent to me or to anyone else. Widgets and extensions of an app read this data on the same device. If you use iCloud or Google device backups, the app's data can be part of those backups, which Apple or Google handle under their own privacy policies. Deleting content in the app, or deleting the app, removes it from your device.
Permissions
Some apps ask for access to parts of your device, for example the microphone, the camera, photos, files, notifications, motion data or your location. An app asks only when a feature needs it, uses the access only for that feature and processes the data on your device. You can refuse or revoke any permission in your device's settings; the rest of the app keeps working. Notifications, such as reminders, are scheduled locally on your device without a push service. Files are read only when you pick them yourself.
Apple Health
Some apps offer to save data to Apple Health or read data from it, for example to record a completed workout. This happens only with your permission, on your device, and only for the feature described in the app. Data exchanged with Apple Health is never sent to me, never used for advertising and never passed on to third parties. You can revoke access at any time in the Health app or in Settings.
Sharing
When you share something from an app, the system share sheet opens and you decide where it goes. The app does not send it anywhere on its own.
No tracking
My apps contain no analytics, advertising or third-party tracking, and they do not sell or share personal data. They do not need an internet connection for their own features.
App Store, Google Play and crash reports
The apps are distributed through Apple's App Store and Google Play. When you download them, Apple or Google process data such as your account and purchase details under their own privacy policies. I receive only the aggregated, anonymous statistics the stores give every developer. If you have agreed in your device settings to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may pass anonymous crash reports and usage statistics on to me. I use them only to fix problems in the app. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in working software (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Contacting me
If you write to me, I use your email address and message only to answer you, based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and delete them once they are no longer needed.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing and to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, for example the one responsible for me: Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover.
Changes
If an app starts handling data in a way this page does not describe, this page will be updated before that version is released.
