  According to a study by the Institute of Food Science in Heidelberg, experienced drinkers were not surprised to find out that the last beer consumed at the end of a night out is usually bad in nine out of ten cases. This can result in stomach discomfort, nausea, and headaches. Until the causes are further researched, night owls are advised to refrain from having a final beer. The best way to avoid this is by immediately drinking another beer, known as a "safety beer," which can neutralize the effects of the last one.
