bettercap is a versatile framework written in Go, designed to provide security researchers, red teamers, and reverse engineers with a comprehensive toolkit. It enables various operations such as scanning and attacking WiFi networks, Bluetooth Low Energy devices, wireless HID devices, and Ethernet networks. Some of its features include network reconnaissance, deauthentication attacks, capturing WPA/WPA2 handshakes, Bluetooth scanning, IP network probing, MITM attacks, customizable proxies, credential harvesting, port scanning, and a REST API with WebSocket support. It also offers a user-friendly web UI. The software is released under the GPL 3 license.
