ACE is an Apache Cordova plugin that enables developers to incorporate native UI and code into their JavaScript and HTML projects. However, Microsoft announced in December 2016 that ACE would no longer be actively maintained, as most developers were content with the access provided by Cordova's Plugin Model. The project is available for forking, but Microsoft will no longer monitor or respond to open issues. Interested users can explore other projects from Microsoft's Cordova team on http://taco.visualstudio.com. ACE is licensed under the MIT Open Source license.
